Permanent Drama Workshop
Since 1982, the Permanent Drama Workshop, linked to the UFSC Arts and Culture Department, develops actor training activities.
The workshop aims to provide experiences in the area of Drama, comprising theoretical study and theatrical experience. It has a basic course curriculum entitled “de como ser para representar ou ser”.
Each group creates together a performance following the group’s vocation and aptitudes. This experience may involve street performances, mimicry, classic performances, etc. After this stage, the students who find their vocation can become part of the cast of the Teatro Novo Research Group.
