Orkextra UFSC – Chamber Orchestra
Created in 2009 as the UFSC Chamber Orchestra and now known as Orkextra UFSC, this permanent musical project aims to provide free music education, through the COLArte Program, while fostering and promoting instrumental music.
Orkextra UFSC also continues to expand its artistic activities through the creation of small ensembles, reflecting its commitment to the practical training and artistic development of its musicians.
Bringing together diverse sounds, styles and musical backgrounds, Orkextra UFSC celebrates collaboration and creativity through collective music-making.
